Sarah Ford
Matron of Honour
Sarah and Bethany have been sisters for six years, but officially for one. Sarah and Tim were married last summer in Timmons, Ontario- where Sarah grew up. Sarah and Bethany have always had a sisterly relationship, which initially started off with jealously- like any sisterly relationship I am sure. When Bethany first met Sarah, she thought Sarah was too pretty and too perfect to be Tim’s girlfriend; she thought Sarah would rip Tim’s heart out!! It took an entire selfish, judgmental year for Bethany to realize Sarah was a beautiful, talented person, full of empathy, patience, peace and love- the only person perfect for Tim. As Sarah graduated from University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and History, she moved to London with Bethany to complete her degree in Education at The University of Western Ontario. As roommates, Sarah taught Bethany a lot while they were living together. Sarah created the idea for Bethany to take every day as a blessing and to love the people you are surrounded with, with all your heart.
I could not be more honoured to have one of my best friends, my sister, my future travel partner- Sarah May Ford stand with me as my Matron of Honour on August 24th.
As Sarah aspirated to become a Teacher as her mother was, she is currently a Supply Secondary School Teacher for the Lambton-Kent District School Board, in the Chatham-Kent area and in time will become a Secondary Art Teacher within the district.

Shannon McFadden
Bridesmaid
As Rachael is to Monica… Shannon is to Bethany. Shannon and Bethany met in high school in grade twelve and eleven, at Lambton Kent Composite School, in Dresden, Ontario. Close to the end of highschool, they made many funny memories, but none like the ones they made in university. Throughout university, Shannon and Bethany did everything - studied, shopped, went to social events, had sleepovers, you name it they were there for each other. Shannon is like a sister to Bethany, a true Best Friend, and always will be. As we knew our lives would continuously change as we graduated, Shannon and Bethany made a promise to each other to never loose touch, and to always be there for each other, even when they are old and wrinkly. Shannon- here’s to making many, many more memories, and I am so very blessed and happy you are in my life to share this time with us. I am honoured to have you stand with me on this very special day!As Shannon has graduated from Huron University College with a Human Resources degree, she is currently working for the Lambton-Kent District School Board as a Human Resources Clerk.

Bre Childs
Bridesmaid
Bre and Bethany have been friends since high school where they also worked at Food Land together. Bre has always felt like a sister to Bethany, she is the type of person you can be your true self around and always have a great time out. Bre has always been there for Bethany and this day would not be the same without her there.
Bre has graduated from Fanshawe College and is now currently working at The Clock Dental Centre as a Dental Hygienist.

Amanda Knight
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Bethany met in public school and they have been best friends since secondary school, where they became great friends in grade nine. Amanda was always back and forth from Petrolia school to Dresden school and Bethany always hated it when she would leave. Throughout university, Amanda and Bethany always managed to stay in touch, whether Bethany was visiting Amanda in Sarnia, or Amanda was visiting Bethany in London. Amanda is someone Bethany has always counted on to be there for her, they tell each other everything, and are excited to grow, celebrating life together, even if they are far apart. I am honoured to have the opportunity to share this special day with Amanda and have her stand with me on my wedding day.
As Amanda has graduated from Lambton College in Sarnia, she is currently a Day Care Instructor in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

Cody Rich
Bridesmaid
Cody and Bethany have been best friends since primary school, where they met in kindergarten at Dresden Area Central School. Cody is one of Bethany’s longest and best friends. They know the ins and outs of one another’s personalities and how far away to run when one gets mad…and how to be right beside each other when one is sad. Bethany’s fondest memory of Cody in kindergarten was when Cody opened up her lunch, and pulled out her sandwich, which had red ketchup all over it. They didn’t sit together again until grade four, where they became best friends forever. Throughout secondary school, Cody and Bethany always made sure their lockers were beside each other and that all of their classes matched up. Cody has always felt like an older sister to Bethany; Cody is a person Bethany shares everything with, and can laugh for hours on end with. I am honoured to have Cody stand with me on my wedding day.
As Cody has graduated from St. Claire College in Windsor, she is currently an Operating Room Nurse for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Fiona Scott
Bridesmaid
Fiona is the first cousin Bethany met while being introduced to Andrew's extended family. As I have only known Fi for a short while, I am looking forward to attending church service with her, having B.B.Q's and swimming during the summer! I feel Fiona is as real as people get, she is compassionate and full of advice. I look up to Fi and respect what she has to say, as if she was Andrew's older sister.
Fiona has been a teacher for nine years, however she has recently retired and opened her own business in real-estate!

David Cabral
Best Man
David and I met about five minutes into our first day of high school and have been best friends ever since. But in reality, we’re brothers- both of our Moms refer to the other one as “My other son.” For the last twelve years we’ve had each other’s back at all times, and have been with each other through the good times and the bad. I’m honoured to have him be my Best Man.
Having completed a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Western Ontario in 2011, David now works in Aboriginal relations at Compass Group in Toronto.

Timothy Ford
Groomsman
Timothy, is Bethany’s Big Brother. Tim has always watched out for Bethany and they have always been there for each other when ever they are in need. Tim and Beth were inseparable when they were younger; he was Beth’s best friend, as he is still one today. Given the fact that Tim is and has been such an important part of Beth’s life, I am honoured to have him stand with me on our special day. I am looking forward to calling him my brother, traveling and creating many special memories together.
As Timothy has acquired a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph, he is currently an entrepreneur in the Construction Business, recently creating his business “Ford Construction - Next Generation”.

Joseph Lindsay
Groomsman
Of everyone in my wedding party, no one has known me as long as Joe, as he’s known me my whole life. Growing up just a few streets apart in Lambeth, I always wanted to hang out with my older, cool friend Joe. I would always be so excited for the days in the summer when we would play golf at Union. In the winter, Joe coached some of my hockey teams, and then we played pick up hockey together as we got older. Joe has always been a huge role model and mentor in my life, as well as my older adopted brother.
Joseph works as a research coordinator at London Health Science’s Centre, and is also currently completing his Master’s in health informatics at the University of Victoria.

Matthew Quenet
Groomsman
Matthew and I met 2 years ago when I was looking for a new place to live in Victoria. The very first house that I looked at was Matt’s basement, and I fell in love with it and took it in about 5 minutes. Soon after, Matt and I became fast friends, being more like roommates than landlord/tenant. Countless hours hanging out on the pergola Matt built (The Perg), barbecuing, duck hunting and watching shows on the projector screen made leaving Victoria one of the hardest decisions in my life.
Matthew served our country for 13 years and 3 tours in the Army, reaching the rank of Warrant Officer. He has received numerous awards and distinctions, and is the country’s top marksman from 800m. Recently, Matthew has left the armed forces and accepted a job position at the Forestry Service of British Columbia.

Evan Scotney
Groomsman
Evan was the first friend that I made in Victoria. Within a couple weeks of meeting, Evan and I were hanging out almost every day. As I lived so close to the university, Evan would always be dropping by between classes. For the two and a half years we knew each other, we probably didn't see each other only a handful of days. Evan invited me into his group of friends, helping me make lifelong friendships over my short time in Victoria.
Evan is currently entering his fourth and final year of the Business program at the University of Victoria.

Mike Ford
Groomsman
Mike is Bethany’s oldest brother. He’s played the role excellently in Bethany’s life; whenever she’s been in trouble and needed a helping hand, Mike is always there to answer the call. Mike is a loving father to his two daughters, Lila and Lacey, and is someone that I respect very much and look forward to getting to know better.

John Ford
Groomsman
John is Bethany’s cousin. From the first time that I met him, we got along like old pals. We share the same sense of humor, and now that I’ve also started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we can talk for hours on end about the gentle art. A loving father of three, John is someone that I look up to and hope that I can be as good of husband and father as he is. I look forward to the hours of interesting conversations that I know we are destined to share.

Maxim Rachinsky
Groomsman
Max and I met shortly into grade 12, as he had recently moved to London. Almost immediately, the three of us (Max, Dave and I) became inseparable, something that would remain constant throughout all of our careers at UWO. Not only has he been one of my closest friends I’ve ever known, but Max is responsible for the most important decision I have ever made in my life. He inspired me and provided a huge amount of assistance in learning Russian, which has had such an incredibly huge impact on my career path. I can never thank him enough for that. Спасибоогромное, Братан.
Having completed a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Western Ontario in 2011, Maxim is currently completing his third year of medical school at the University of Sydney in Australia. Unfortunateluy due to his exam schedule, Max will not be able to attend the ceremony.
