Our Parents

Above all, we would like to thank our loving parents for making this day possible for us.

We love you so much Mom & Dad!!!!

Mr. Mark & Lynda Ford

Mark and Lynda Ford, are the proud parents of Bethany. Mark & Lynda live in Dresden, Ontario, where Mark grew up on a farm in Thamesville, and Lynda grew up in the town of Dresden. Today, Mark owns and operates a successful Construction Business "Ford Brothers Construction,” along the side of his brother, Glenn Ford for the past 35 years. Mark is very passionate about his work and loves what he does. Mark is a proud father, and is the ultimate “advice giver”. Bethany looks up to her father and views him as her role model for his hard work, dedication and honest life style. He is someone she continuously strives to be.

Lynda is a very active, dedicated & loving mother, whom always puts the needs of others before her own. Lynda spent much of Bethany's childhood together with her, whether she was volunteering at school, being her coach at sporting events, baking, reading, shopping, etc; Lynda & Bethany were often inseparable. Lynda would volunteer on the committee of the I.O.D.E, and would be running a Breakfast Program for children at D.A.C.S. Currently, Lynda works in the PAO department for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and manages the finances for “Ford Brothers Farms” & "Ford Brothers Construction". She also enjoys her spare time reading and going on dates with Mark! Lynda’s desire to make others happy is something a very special trait. This trait has taught Bethany the importance of giving time, patience, and an open heart to anyone who may need it. Lynda has also been a role model for Bethany and she still is today.

Mark and Lynda have been married for 35 years, spending their summers with their family at Wildwood By The Lake camping, swimming and enjoying precious time with one another.

Dr. Jamie & Susan McKishnie

Jamie and Sue are the loving parents of Andrew. Sue hails from Rodney, Ontario and Jamie from West Lorne. They now live in Lambeth, Ontario, where Andrew grew up. Jamie has been an anesthesiologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in London since 1980. Additionally, Jamie spent years as a hockey coach, coaching Andrew for many years. Many rounds of golf together, hunting and shooting, hockey games watched and long discussions have made Andrew and Jamie very close, something that, while both of them may have difficulty expressing, neither one of them could live without.

Sue was a teacher in the London public school system for 10 years until she retired in 1988 to become a full time mom. This turned out to be a more demanding job than she could have ever imagined, as Andrew was quite the handful. She has always been the most caring and supportive influence in his life. Her ability to put up with all of Andrew’s complaining and the ability to calm him down has been invaluable over the years. Now that he’s out of the house, Andrew often calls Sue via FaceTime just to chat about school, the Maple Leafs or just life in general, time together they both value very highly.

Jamie and Sue, in their 37th year of marriage, are both still very active. Jamie still plays hockey in the winter and golf in the summer, in addition to shooting and hunting year round. Sue plays a weekly tennis game and is very involved at the church. They enjoy going to sporting events, having attended the British Open, the US Open of tennis, and plan to attend the 2014 Ryder Cup in addition to being season ticket holders for the London Knights.
